Every month Primary Care health professions come together to have an afternoon of joint learning. Nurses, doctors, managers and health care assistants, along with the wider Primary Care Network team meet at the same time.
TARGET training has been running since 2005 and is an important way that Tameside and Glossop maintains a friendly cooperative culture. Subjects are varied but are always focused on improving care. See previous schedule below:

We also run a ‘First 5’ GP learning group for primary care doctors who qualified less than 5 years ago.

There is a vibrant Dermatology/Dermatoscopy Whatsapp group, where Clinicians share images of lesions, to constantly improve skills and jointly learn.
