Pharmacy Local Professional Network Chair

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Local Professional Network (LPN) Chair working across Greater Manchester.

The role would suit a highly motivated individual who is able to work autonomously. A strong relationship-builder, you’ll bring well-developed communication skills, with an ability to work with multiple stakeholders effectively. We are looking for a candidate with excellent leadership skills who has the ability to develop and lead multiple workstreams successfully.

The LPN Chair will lead the Pharmacy Local Professional Network and oversee delivery of key workstreams of the LPN and subgroups. The postholder will support the development and transformation of community pharmacy across Greater Manchester and the delivery of NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care main objectives.

Key aspects of this role will be to:

  • To provide professional and clinical leadership to networks in the defined area;
  • To communicate the LPN focus on quality and outcomes from national through to local level, allowing the LPN to feed ideas and input back to the Grater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.
  • To provide leadership for improving and safeguarding quality.
  • To be aware of innovative funding opportunities to enhance the development and delivery of the LPN and National Commissioning Board objectives

The post holder will also work collaboratively with the Primary Care Provider Board (PCPB) and the specific discipline groups which sit under the PCPB structure, particularly the Pharmacy Provider Board.
