Nurse Associates

Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare is looking to recruit four Nurse Associates to join a rapidly expanding PCN ARRS team that currently includes: clinical pharmacists and technicians, first contact physiotherapists, social prescribers, care coordinators and mental health practitioners.

If you would like to be part of an organisation that values innovation and embraces new ways of working we want to hear from you. You will be an NMC Registered Nurse Associate who is well-motivated with a friendly, professional outlook. You enjoy delivering innovative quality care with a smile and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary approach. You recognise the importance of excellent communication skills and have the ability to build rapport with patients, their families, carers and colleagues.

To support the on-going development of the team, we have also recruited two Trainee Nurse Associates, providing candidates with the opportunity to develop support and line-management skills within the role.

The Nurse Associates will work both within our practices and out-reach into the local community. Working independently under the leadership of Registered Nurses, GP’s and Senior Clinical Pharmacists you will work within the scope of nursing and care, and within all aspects of the nursing process.

You will be an integral part of PCN work-streams, providing high quality, safe effective care to our patient population working both independently and via a multi-disciplinary approach to support patients, their families and carers.

You will establish and maintain effective communication, both verbally, written and relationships across the PCN and within multi-disciplinary team.
