GP Receptionist, Dr Uddin and Partners, Bolton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced GP Receptionists to join our small, friendly, highly motivated team.
We are a forward thinking GP practice with a list size of approx. 4900 patients. We are a well-established and respected training practice for GP Registrars and medical students.
Our practice is based in The Halliwell Surgery, Bolton, in a purpose built premises to meet the needs of our patients.

We provide a supportive environment, have a dedicated excellent team of GPs, nurses and supporting staff and are rated good by CQC in all domains. Our clinical system is EMIS.
The hours of work range between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday, plus any cover for holidays and sickness.

Experienced candidates working in General Practice is desirable, however full training is provided in-house so inexperienced candidates should not be discouraged Experience of working with the public (preferably in a busy reception environment), be reliable, have good customer service & computer skills is required.

As the first point of contact within the surgery this role is integral to our approach to patient care, greeting and supporting patients and their carers both face to face and on the telephone. It also includes some administration duties.
The role would suit someone who is flexible, with a friendly and approachable demeanour, eager to learn new skills, the ability to problem-solve and willingness to help/support both patients and colleagues.
