Business Intelligence & Data Lead, Rochdale Health Alliance, Rochdale

You will be responsible for a range of data quality support, including developing searches to extract data from Clinical systems, data manipulation and interrogation. This role will require high levels of administrative and communication skills and an ability to work proactively, independently and as part of a team. This role would suit a highly organised IT literate and flexible person with experience of EMIS and report writing.

There will be engagement and support with local Primary Care Networks and liaising with GP practices and staff, monitoring key metrics, with regular reviews reporting to stakeholders

Identifying and developing new opportunities will also be vital in establishing and growing both this role and RHA.


Day to day responsibility of all data and business intelligence processes required by RHA to ensure the effective and efficient management and delivery of contracted services

Day to day liaison with stakeholders and partner organisations to ensure the effective support of all service delivery undertaken and business development opportunities pursued by RHA

Ensuring the effective review and management of performance dashboards, contractual and stakeholder reports and returns

Ensuring robust contract performance and demand management systems and processes are developed and implemented

Liaise with and support the organisation to ensure the effective management and delivery of contracts and services undertaken

Identify areas for continual improvement within areas of responsibility and proactively assist with implementing change as required

Proactive contribution to ensuring the operational efficiency of RHA

Delivery of all contractual data services according to specifications and requirements including supporting operational Managers in producing required information and reports

Submission of data and reports required for performance management of RHA services by commissioners and clients

Assisting in the development of RHA services and business opportunities

Liaison with external partner organisations and stakeholders

Ensure the development, maintenance and implementation of robust data management systems and processes

Assist in identifying and coordinating the implementation of improvements to quality and performance management systems and processes

Administration of the data management support to Primary Care Networks that are supported by RHA

Ensuring appropriate and timely data input as required

Ensure circulation of data and IT function information and communications internally and externally e.g., PCNs, stakeholders and partner organisations as required

Ensure strict confidentiality of correspondence, reports, meetings, and verbal communications as appropriate
