Adshall Road Medical Practice is looking to recruit a part time salaried GP from mid December, to replace a GP who is leaving due to external commitments.
Salaried GP 6 sessions / week:
Wednesday – full day
Thursday – full day (oncall)
Friday – full day
Small suburban practice on Cheadle / Adswood border.
Approx 5000 patients

3 FTE GPs (2 GP Partners, 3 salaried GPs)
BMA standard contract
MDDUS indemnity provided as part of group membership.
Adshall Road is a friendly practice with supportive partners who prefer work-life balance over high earnings.
The practice operates an emergency triage for on the day urgent appointments; patients are advised to call at 8am and 13:30pm to await GP call-back within 1 hour – all GPs are expected to assist with the triage.
Routine GP appointments are initially booked as phone consults; there are then appointments available each week for the GP to book patients in to if required. Current GP clinics comprise of 10 phone appointments or 5 Face-2-face appointments per session; there is time assigned for admin and supporting students and trainees. Remote consulting is an option for phone clinics, if preferred.
Home visits (often none, sometimes 1 each) are triaged and undertaken at lunchtime.
The practice hosts a variety of student doctors throughout the year, as well as FY2s and a GPST1; the trainees run the majority of F2F clinics with strong senior support.
