We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our dedicated team alongside the two established GP Partners, working 5-6 sessions per week to develop the Kingsway Medical Practice in South Manchester.
The successful applicant will be supported to continue, or pursue, a specialist interest and/or a Portfolio career. We offer 6 weeks paid annual leave and one week’s paid study leave (pro rata) with NHS pension in addition.
We are a GMS practice operating from purpose built modern premises with parking and a growing list size of approximately 6000 patients, of a varied cultural and socio-economic mix. We use Emis Web, accuRx, and Docman clinical systems. Our CQC rating is Good. As well as regular contact and good working relationships with our neighbouring practices in our PCN (Didsbury, Chorlton and Burnage), Community Services, District Nurse and Macmillan teams, we have regular sessions scheduled in-house for our patients with the National Dementia Lead and the Diabetes Specialist Nurse team.
The practice team currently consists of:
• 2 GP Partners and 4 Salaried GPs
• 2 Practice Nurses, and 1 Healthcare Assistant
• Practice Manager, Admin Team of 7 staff members
