General Practice Nurse, Yorkshire Street Surgery Rochdale

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, forward thinking General Practice Nurse who has experience of working with patients with a variety of long-term health conditions and possesses good IT skills to join us at Yorkshire Street Surgery in Rochdale.

The practice will consider a Qualified nurse who is new to general practice. You will be supported to participate and complete the Foundation course in General Practice Nursing.

We are a young and buzzing team with different skill sets offering full set of GP Services. We are a teaching and training practice in the heart of Rochdale with excellent transport links and have strong work ethos that helps us to offer holistic and patient centred care.

You will have an opportunity to work with and train multidisciplinary professionals and Junior doctors by utilising your skills in a safe and educational environment where every team member is valued.

Pay will be based on NHS pay banding recommendations in line with experience and qualifications.

Essential qualifications include:

• Current NMC membership and affiliation
• Chronic disease management skills
• Cervical smears
• Injections and immunisations
• ECG
• Phlebotomy
• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
